About Claire

I’m Claire Tsai, a New York City–based public relations strategist who believes communication should be clear, sincere and rooted in purpose. I’m currently President of the Public Relations League (NYU’s Chapter of PRSSA) and a contributor to CommPRO, where I explore how leadership, culture and brand influence intersect.

My path began in linguistics, where I learned how language shapes perception and meaning. I later expanded my craft through journalism, which taught me how to listen deeply, think critically and tell stories with precision. Today, I bring that combined foundation into every strategic challenge: immersing myself in brands, understanding the nuances of their identity and translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that build trust and move audiences.

I help organizations navigate competitive environments with quiet fortitude and relentless refinement. My work blends analytical rigor with empathy – an approach that allows me to honor a client’s core identity while expanding its reach and influence. Whether I’m developing reputation strategies, crafting thought leadership or supporting teams through high-stakes communication moments, I ground every decision in research, clarity and a commitment to meaningful, measurable impact.

Outside the classroom, you’ll often find me volunteering at industry events for organizations such as NYWICI, PRSA-NY, PR Museum and Shorty Awards. These experiences remind me why I do this work: to contribute to a profession shaped by accessibility, community and the next generation of storytellers.

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my journey. If you’d like to see how I bring these values to life, I invite you to explore my work.
